Software and Animals

Each program is identified by a logo. Often, the logo coincides with the icon that identifies the program, although the icon can be changed to taste (I don't know of any case where someone changes the icons, but there's always someone). And many times, the logo corresponds to a company that makes many programs and they don't match—well, I don't know why I'm writing all this since the idea is to collect all those programs that are identified in one way or another with animals, or more broadly, with the animal kingdom. Not only that, since they aren't just programs, but—as we will see—it is much broader. We must not forget that a program can be identified with many icons, and variations can exist among them. Let's see: from the very beginning, those malicious programs created for destructive purposes were called viruses. Time passed and viruses evolved; someone came up with a way for the program to reproduce on its own, and that's when the name of this new genre changed—they came to be called worms. Now let's look at Operating Systems: one of the many existing ones is Linux, which is identified with a penguin. And before getting directly into the programs themselves, let's look at the case of Photoshop, which used to be identified with an eye, but in recent versions changed to a feather. And now, onto the programs…
